Iraq

In 2008, three experienced mine detection dog teams from MDDC were deployed in the demining tasks in Iraq. This cooperation was established with Mines Advisory Group – MAG and The Marshall Legacy Institute. As a result of their efficiency and professionalism shown in the field, the teams continued to work in Iraq in 2009 as well. This cooperation in implementation of projects was continued in 2011, through the implementation of mine detection dogs training project in Iraq, when MDDC trainer conducted the training and integration of Iraqi mine detection dog teams for MAG and supervision of their work in the field in the demining operations in Chamchamal region.
