MDDC is currently involved in training of mine detection dogs, implementation of Land Release project Zoranovići and in CHAMPS project Bosnia and Herzegovina. After completing land release project Mitrići in Ilidža municipality that was funded by PM/WRA and Ilidža municipality, the continuation of the Land Release project in this municipality started late 2017 after Ilidža municipality allocated funds itself through ITF Enhancing Human Security for activities that will again release millions of square mnetes of land. The project is ongoing and shall be completed in spring 2018. The implementation of the CHAMPS project is continued through the year 2017/2018. Dozens of mine survovors were helped so far with the prosthetic limbs and children continue to conduct mine risk education. CHAMPS project is funded by US State Department and implemented with Marshall Legacy Institute.

Official handover in Busovača marks the completion of demining project

The project was funded by the US State Department through the Marshall Legacy Institute.
