First deployment of MDDC in Serbia was the deployment of the mine detection dog teams as a support to the demining project of border area between Serbia and Croatia, which was followed by the new deployment of mine detection dog teams in Remica Stan demining task in Serbia in October 2009, as support to the demining teams of PMC Engineering Ltd. Company from Serbia and DOKING from Croatia, covering the area of 55.730 square meters of land. The demined location is positioned along the border area between Serbia and Croatia, and the demined land will be used for further development of agriculture in that area. In October 2012, MDDC conducted demining operations with its demining teams in Peceno school project in Presevo municipality, a risk location positioned in vicinity of the elementary school, covering the area of 88.032 square meters.
